We are Conor and Erin.
A husband and wife team, based in Glasgow with their young children and two dogs, we have crammed a lot in since we met in The Garage in 2011. In starting this labour of love we realised that McGrath Moments really began in Mallorca, summer 2016, when Conor started photographing Erin on their adventures through life and honing the skills that you see today outside of his professional photography.
After meeting in Glasgow, then moving to Mallorca to build on nightlife and events careers, we moved again to Australia before returning to Glasgow with our first dog in tow.
Our wedding story
Our travel bug will never go away (we have a long list of honeymoon inspo if you need it!) but we truly embrace our Glaswegian and Scottish-ness and love to champion home grown gems from venues to outdoor spaces. This is most obvious through our wedding story.
We got engaged in 2019 and were deep into wedding planning when the pandemic hit. We rolled with it and found ways to keep spirits up, like Conor measuring Erin for her wedding dress, but soon realised that our wedding day would not look the way we hoped on our original date. We made the right decision to move our day from 2021 to 2022 as we had grand plans of a venue special to us as well as cocktail hour on a City Sightseeing tour bus full of our guests. So we eloped on our original date in a small area of The Cairngorms with our dogs, celebrant, his husband and our photographer and it was the most special day of our lives. We then still got to enjoy our big day the following year after our intimate “wee day”.
Focus on moments
Since then we have added two real babies to our team of fur babies and Conor even took three cameras to our births! Now this season of life has brought us to appreciate how special these moments are and we want to be able to document them for others, leading us to creating McGrath Moments. We hope we can be a part of your moments in some small way.
